I took the photo in Cologne on the Hohenzollern Brücke also called „Love Bridge“.
Thousands of padlocks are fixed to the railings here as a symbol of everlasting love. The keys are thrown into the river Rhine.
But as life and the photo above prove there is no guarantee for that. If a relationship breaks up the padlocks smoetimes are removed forcibly.
